Funding announced for NSW Light/State Project

Wentworth Shire Council in partnership with Mildura Regional Development announce the state funding for the NSW part of the Light/State project is secured. This now means the project will go ahead on both sides of the river.

Spotlight Shines on Mildura This October

The Mildura region will feature on two national TV programs during October. Earlier in the year, both the What’s Up Down Under TV crew, and Australian Fishing Championships (AFC) came to region to film for upcoming episodes which will air on TV screens around Australia this October.

New Board Director Announced For Mildura Regional Development

Mildura Regional Development has appointed a new board director, Ms. Jodie Madden. Jodie is an outcome-driven qualified valuer and an expert in the financing of Infrastructure and Property Developments. Backed by a Bachelor Degree in Business (Property) and Grad Diploma in Applied finance and investment.

AFC XVII

For the first time in its history the Australian Fishing Championships will visit the mighty Murray River and target the almighty Murray Cod in Mildura. Featuring some of Australia’s best tournament anglers the waters of Mildura will host the AFC anglers and TV crew the week of May 23 where native species will be targeted using lures.
