The Glass House

The Glass House is a place for start up businesses and entrepreneurs to come together and work on the next big idea. It offers heaps of resources and services to take your business to the next level and shorten your time-to-success. Among the things the Glass House helps with are:

  • Connectivity with the ecoystem

Its purpose is to support founders of high-growth potential entrepreneurial ventures and owners and operators of high growth potential SMEs in the region through the provision of highly customised business incubation services.

As well as providing those services, the Glass House will also run a Mildura accelerator program. This is a a three-month intensive program run by a group of seasoned entrepreneurs who invest in, host, teach and mentor selected start-ups to create successful businesses.

They provide $25,000 AUD investment as well as mentoring over three months in exchange for 10% equity in the company. They work with you intensively and then help you present your business to investors. The goal is to enable you to go on to grow your business.

The heart of Mildura accelerator is the mentors. All the mentors bring substantial experience in start-ups, working with entrepreneurs, start-up investing and raising capital, sales and business development, and significant industry and investor networks. Mentors get involved.  Mentors provide the capital which is invested in the accelerator start-ups. They provide quality mentoring and all know they will lose their money if they don’t help you to succeed.
